Family RV Trip: Day 8

A Bit of Sedona

Today we strolled Sedona.  As in, walked up and down the town.  It wasn’t extremely exciting, as at 8:00 in the morning not much was open, but I’d like to think I added to the morning excitement!

I twisted my ankle.  Twice.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m naturally clumsy, despite being a figure skater, and if you didn’t believe me then, hopefully this post will convince you!  The first time, I was walking down the stairs of the RV, excited to go out to see Sedona, and then – BAM! Continue reading

Family RV Trip: Day 5

A Grand Canyon Sunset

This morning we awoke bright and early (darn those dogs of ours) in Page, and decided we couldn’t stand another day of sitting, so my sisters and I went for a run.  Now, I am not a runner.  I typically despise running, actually.  I will swim, walk, bike, hike, skip…nearly everything except run.  But today, it felt amazing!  My body needed exercise so badly.  Until this point, my physical activity had consisted of a bit of ballet in the RV and jumping up and down curbs at every gas station we stopped at!   Continue reading

Colorado River Discovery: Rafting Down Glen Canyon

Glen Canyon, Reflected

The tour began at the Glen River Dam, where the dam is holding back Lake Powell.  My sisters, my grandma, and I hopped into a huge blue inflatable raft and off we went!   Continue reading
